The Scan 83 series was created by Harrit & Sørensen, one of Denmark's most renowned design companies. The pure and simple design is born from an equal respect for functionality and aesthetics.

Every detail has been carefully considered. The curved glass door has a soft-closing function and provides a clear view of the flame. The handle is designed to emphasize the simplicity of the design and not to get hot while the fire is burning.

The Scan 83 Maxi Top has a pull-out ashtray with a lock, a cast iron bottom and grate, as well as an adjustable stand. The stove can be supplied with a swivel stand.

The Scan 83-7 Maxi Back can be equipped with a unique heat storage system that allows the room to be heated for up to 12 hours after the last firewood has been put into the firebox. The heat storage system is a combination of materials and technical design that ensures maximum heat output long after the fire has gone out. The heat storage system is compact. It is hidden at the top of the stove.

The Scan 83-7 Maxi Back stove has integrated steatite (soapstone) elements that store heat when the stove is burning. When the fire goes out, the heat is gradually released into the environment.
